Weddings 101

Let’s be real here: Weddings are HARD. They’re hard to plan, hard to coordinate, hard to design, and hard to pay. There’s lots of pressure in planning the perfect wedding - in delivering an event that lives up to not only your dreams, but maybe even to some of your guests’ most snarky and critical expectations (I’m looking at you, Aunt Lydia).
Yeah, weddings are hard. You want every single little element, down to the tiniest, most minute detail to be in perfect, tip-top shape, making good on even your craziest standards, whatever those may be. Should we have macaroons or cannolis? This dress or that? Ball-gown or Mermaid? Coral Pink or Blush Pink? Classic or Rustic? Should I even have invited Aunt Lydia? Is it too late to redact her invitation?
And so of course - every crazy, obsessive moment of a bride is understandable - especially when there are a hundred and one things that you need to figure out, and then another one hundred and one decisions you have to make.
But, in the end - after all the decisions have been made, after all the quirks and kinks have been worked out - it all truly pays off. It really does. In the moment, when every particle and atom of your blood, sweat, and tears, come together to create what can only be described as the most magical, fairy-tale, Disney Princess like moment of your life, you realize it's all truly worth it.
Weddings are hard, yes - but they can be some of the most beautiful, treasured occasions of one’s life. It’s a day where we get to celebrate arguably the most precious gifts the universe has to offer: love, unity, family. It’s about the bonds we have made, the ones that will hopefully last us a lifetime, and maybe even a little bit more.
So, over the course of the next few blogs, we’ll be looking at how to perfectly capture and frame those delicate and precious moments, how to share them with our loved ones, and how to memorialize them for the rest of our lives.
We’ll go over some of the quintessential aspects in wedding planning - so, buckle up, maybe get some pen and paper, and get ready, because we’re about to show you how to make your special day one for the books!
