DeLand Florist Creating Your Wedding Flowers

Hi my dear friends!
I'm finally back! these last weeks were extremely busy but exciting at our new Store in Deland, Florida! Yes! We finally had our Grand Opening this week plus some amazing weddings, holiday events going on and of course tons of flowers to put together for our daily occasions! We had fun decorating our store for the Holidays and designing some gorgeous flower centerpieces and flower installations for all our events. Please check our Instagram @impekabledesign and Facebook page to check some of the creations we came up with!
But now let's go back to our Wedding Flowers 101 dilemma ;) What’s the point of buying real blooms for my Wedding, if they’ll just die in a couple of days?
The truth is, that at the end of the day, most of it just comes down to personal choice and preference. In many cases, your wedding bouquet and floral pieces can last for more than just a few days after delivery. I won’t deny the fact that fresh flowers can and will eventually die, but with some proper care, they can last a lot longer that you’d typically expect. And if you’re not too keen on keeping them anyways, Impekable Flowers and Design is happy to take back any of your pieces and donate them to the place of your choice. Our arrangements typically go to a local nursing home in Deland, where they bring joy and beauty to all residents that enjoy them up to a week or so. Our fresh flowers can also be arranged to be preserved - this process can be a little lengthy and costly but is a great choice nonetheless if you wish to keep your flowers alive past their typical life expectancy.
It doesn’t hurt to add that fresh flowers smell amazing as well. If you’re fond of that fresh, I-literally-just-cut-these-beauties-from-my-garden type of smell, then you’ll love having a natural bouquet on your wedding day. You’ll be carrying around that thing for quite a while anyways, so it might as well smell nice.
The important thing to keep in mind here is: YOU! What do you see yourself walking down the aisle with? Remember, most good florists will be willing to work with you, your creative vision, and your budget to make your wedding dreams come true. So, it’s important to do a little bit of research beforehand, and to be comfortable with who you’re working. Don’t be afraid to express your specific and artistic wants and needs. If you see yourself walking down the aisle with a bouquet that looks like just came out of a fantasy enchanted forest - let your florist know. If they’re good, they’ll figure out how to create it and work out their magic! ;)
