Classically Elegant Barn Wedding in Central Florida

Published on
May 16, 2025

Some words we wrote down during the floral design consultation for Cortney and Danny were: elegant, classic, neutral, white, sage, and romantic. We used those key words to guide the style and design of their wedding flowers.

Cortney wore a timeless gown that beautifully accentuated her figure and paired it with a short silk tulle veil with delicate floral embroidery. To compliment her clothing, Cortney’s bouquet was a large, artfully arranged combination of elegant white flowers: roses, ranunculus, stock, spray roses and wax flowers. While we selected white tones, we wanted to make sure her bridal bouquet had texture and dimension and we used a well-balanced mix of eucalyptus cider gum, parvifolia, silver dollar, and eucalyptus seeded to add in between and around the flowers.

Bridesmaids wore green sage gowns, and their bouquets were smaller versions of Cortney’s bouquet. Danny and his groomsmen donned classic blue suits with boutonnieres of white ranunculus for the groom and white spray roses for groomsmen.

Nestled amid the exquisitely manicured landscape at the Granville Barn was the ceremony floral arch where we decided to make it a complementary part of the landscape. We chose a variety of white and off-white flowers with added sage green foliage arranged asymmetrically in one corner, so it had lots of texture, interest and romantic accents. It was the perfect backdrop for this perfect ceremony.

An aisle lined with white lanterns, lush greenery and flowers led the way to the altar with the arch.

The reception tables were enhanced with fresh greenery wreath, lanterns, and the repurposed bridesmaids’ bouquets. The arch pieces were relocated to the sweetheart table.

Lastly, the wedding cake was topped with delicate pieces of white flowers and eucalyptus.
