A Study in Emerald, Blue, and Candlelight

Set against the timeless grandeur of the Four Seasons Resort Orlando, this wedding unfolded as a masterclass in moody elegance. Every detail, from the custom stationery in deep emerald and slate blue to the bride’s romantic floral-appliqué gown, reflected a sense of refinement and quiet opulence. The design vision was clear: transform the day into an immersive experience where color, light, and texture worked in perfect harmony.

The Venue & Vision

The couple exchanged vows beneath the sprawling oaks of the Four Seasons’ lakeside lawn, where Spanish moss caught the late-afternoon light. Our goal was to echo the natural beauty of the setting while infusing a sense of modern luxury through tonal layering and sculptural form. A palette of emerald green, cool blue, ivory, and teal created depth and atmosphere, grounded in nature yet elevated by contemporary elegance.

The Palette & Florals

The florals balanced softness and intensity through a curated mix of:

• Garden roses, quicksand roses, and white ranunculus
• Panda anemones and black cosmos for contrast
• Bells of Ireland and hanging Amaranthus for movement
• Green and blue hydrangeas for body and tone
• Eucalyptus and myrtle to frame the design with texture

The unexpected teal rose accent added a bold, modern signature color echo of the couple’s stationery suite and the velvet reception linens. Together, the blooms created a visual rhythm of light and shadow, perfectly suited to a fall celebration in Florida.

The Ceremony Design

Beneath the oak canopy, asymmetrical floral structures on sleek iron stands framed the couple with vertical dimension and natural movement. Soft pampas grass and mossy greens blurred the boundary between design and landscape, creating a seamless dialogue between art and environment. As the golden light filtered through the trees, the florals glowed with tonal transitions delphinium blue fading into ivory, anchored by deep green and teal.

The Reception Transformation

Inside, the ballroom glowed in contrast, emerald velvet, candlelight, and crystal chandeliers setting the tone for an evening of refined celebration. We designed floral runners and lush ground compositions to wrap around the tables, mirroring the ceremony’s botanical language in a more structured, cinematic way. Hundreds of candles reflected against glass and metal, multiplying the glow and creating the illusion of endless light. The result was a setting that felt at once modern, romantic, and unmistakably Four Seasons, an elegant continuation of the story begun outdoors.
